Delhi is rarely so wet and cold at the end of March. I enjoyed waking up to this weather
The sun hasn’t risen at 6:00 AM. It is quiet and chilly like a hill station. The newspaper vendor is absent today. The air purifier reads 008. Yes. 008. A light drizzle adorns the day. What a beautiful day in New Delhi, India.
Yesterday was a nice Friday too. My wife and I left for work early at 7:30 AM. I had been apprehensive the whole week about a few projects, which were refusing to die down. However, by 2:00 PM it was clear that every knot in these matters had slowly unraveled themselves by the Grace of God.
Both of us felt light hearted and happy when we reached home late afternoon. The weather supported that feeling. It isn’t often that Delhi is so cool and wet at the same time.
Now this. I am always the one to wake up earliest at home. Today, the morning mist greeted me like a long-lost member of the family. I started pottering about in the kitchen and began to cook the trotter soup I had been planning all fortnight. Hopefully it will turn out well.
