Danish company Upteko™ was founded in 2018 by Mads Joergensen, Benjamin Mejnertz, and Sebastian Duus with the goal of developing drone applications for the offshore and maritime sector. For Benjamin and Sebastian, it started as a hobby, competing in RC Helicopter competitions around the world and later evolved into a business worth pursuing. Mads joined the team, and together, they established Upteko, building a great team of passionate drone, electronic, software, and hardware engineers. Today, Upteko has offices in Copenhagen, Odense, and Skanderborg. At our core, Upteko is about using our creativity and initiative to become leaders in the drone industry.
To develop fitting solutions for industry needs, they highly value collaboration and co-creation with external parties. Over several years of working closely with customers, complementary asset providers, and even competitors, they have formed priceless partnerships within the professional industry, government and on/offshore maritime sectors.
In 2019, Upteko was selected by customers to undertake several projects, bringing in substantial revenue.
The Upteko team initiated a collaboration with DIS-Creadis and its +700 engineers. This network of engineering capabilities ensured Upteko the ability and agility to deliver complex end-to-end solutions for professional industry use.
Today, Upteko is involved in several industries and is transitioning from a solutions provider to a direct product partner.
