Looks like India is built for peace, not prosperity according to Vaastu
Issa Fathima Jasmine says on Linkedin that a friend insisted she show her farmland to a Vastu consultant. She drew a rough sketch and explained the orientation:
North: mountain.
South: water body.
The consultant reportedly didn’t even want to visit. He said, “This land will not make you wealthy. It should be the reverse — mountains in the South, water in the North.”
If that logic holds, then India itself should never have prospered.
We have the Himalayas in the North and the Indian Ocean in the South. (Well, India is the land of peace but never for prosperity. That’s true)
In 2025:
Only 170+ billionaires — the third-highest count in the world out of a population of poorer, lower middle class and poor 1.4 billion people.
A $350B startup ecosystem — the third largest globally with no innovation and research but just last mile disruption.
$70B in FDI inflows last year, despite global headwinds attributed mostly to investment by promoters within India channelling their money back into India through tax havens for tax benefits.
An economy racing toward $5 trillion in the next few years largely through non-economic UPI transactions and government employment figures resulting in an inflated GDP.
